Tell your toddlers they'll have to go find the item you'll name AND they'll have to put it on! If you have more that one child, or a playful daddy, you can make it a competition....who'll be faster? |

How do you feel today?
In this very simple craft activity, we'll make props to help us show our feelings. We will need: Paper plates Sticks or straws Markers Crayons or coloured pencils Scissors and Tape Cut your paper plates in two and decorate each side with a mouth expressing a different emotion: happy, sad, sleepy, angry...you can also add scared or silly (my favourite one!). Then stick the paper plate onto the stick or straw and put it right in front of your mouth. |

In questo semplicissimo lavoretto. creeremo dei supporti che ci aiuteranno a mostrare le nostre emozioni. Materiale: piatti di carta bastoncini o cannucce pennarelli colori a cera o matite colorate forbici e scotch Tagliate i piatti a meta e decorate ciascuna parte con una bocca che esprima una emozione diversa: felice, triste, assonnata o arrabbiata...potreste anche ggiungere spaventata o sciocchina (la mia preferita!). Poi attaccatela al bastoncino o cannuccia e mettetela davanti alla bocca come nella foto!!! |

You'll need:
white paper paint or coloured pencils scissors and glue Trace your child's hand, have them colour (or paint) it in, then cut it out. Draw a cone, have the child colour it in, then cut this one out as well. Glue the two pieces together and, if possible, stick them onto another sheet of paper. Decorate it with glitters or more colour. |

To play this game you can either print the worksheets, cut them out and play OR you can just draw the eggs yourself and use real baskets in different colours.
You can play two different games with these materials: SORT THE EGGS (we've played this before): place the baskets in a row, hand children one egg at a time and ask them to place it in the basket in the corresponding colour (i.e. red egg in the red basket). Remember: use your english ONLY, just ask them "What colour is the egg?" ..."And where is the (colour) basket?" EASTER EGGS HUNT (My favourite one): hide the eggs around the house. Give the child one basket asking "what colour is it?" if, let's say, the basket is red..ask the child "Where are the red eggs" go with her/him to find the eggs. Remember: use your english ONLY, just ask them "WHERE ARE THE RED EGGS?" miming WHERE and doing your best "let's see let's see Sherlock Holmes face" ;) !!! you can use chocolate eggs for this version of the game !!! |

Per questo gioco potrete sia stampare e ritagliare le schede di fianco, che disegnare voi stessi le uova e usare veri cestini colorati.
Potrete giocare a due giochi diversi: ORDINA LE UOVA (ci abbiamo già giocato insieme): disponete in fila le schede con i cestini, offrite ai bambini una carta uovo alla volta e chiedetegli di poggiarla sul cestino del colore corrispondente (es. uovo rosso nel cestino rosso) Ricordate di parlare esclusivamente in inglese. Chiedete semplicemente "What colour is the egg?" ..."And where is the (colour) basket?" CACCIA ALLE UOVA DI PASQUA (questo è il mio preferito!): nascondete le carte uovo in giro per casa. Date ai bambini un cestino per volta chiedendo loro "What colour is it?", chiedete poi ai bambini "where are the (colour) eggs?" e andate con loro a cercare le uova del colore corrispondente. Ricordate di parlare esclusivamente in inglese! Chiedete semplicemente "WHERE ARE THE (colour) EGGS?" mimando "WHERE" e usando la vostra miglior espressione da Sherlock Holmes alla ricerca di indizi ;) !!! Let's make these lovely chicks with some white paper sheets and your creativity.
You will need: Paper Coloured pencils or crayons Scissors and glue black marker Draw a big oval, a small diamond and trace your two hands. Colour them all in and then cut them out. Glue them together so they look like the picture (you will fold the diamond to make it a beak). Add the eyes with a black marker when finished. And SNAP!...the job's a game!!! |

Ricreiamo questi adorabili pulcini con della semplice carta e la nostra creatività.
Materiale necessario: Carta Matite colorate o pastelli a cera Forbici e colla Pennarello nero Disegniamo un grosso ovale, un piccolo rombo e le nostre mani. Coloriamo il tutto e poi ritagliamo. Incolliamoli come mostrato nella foto (il rombo andrà piegato a metà perché diventi il becco). Per gli occhi basterà aggiungere due puntino con il pennarello nero. Hop... il gioco è fatto! |

Ok ok I know! You really did a lot these past few weeks. I don't expect you to decorate bottles to make them look like farm animals.
Let's keep it simple. Just don't throw them away, ok? Here's a great way to reuse them and turn them into a great game your kids will love! Try to collect at least 4 of them, wash them and place them in line on the floor. Put animal cards right in front of them and have the kids roll a ball towards them to knock them down...just as in a normal bowling match! Every time the pins (bottles) go down, your child will have to say the name of the animal. Play together and HAVE FUN! |

Ok ok, lo so! Avete già fatto tantissimo nelle ultime settimane. Non mi aspetto che vi mettiate pure a decorare le bottiglie per farle somigliare agli animali della fattoria.
Fermiamoci a qualcosa di più semplice. Vi chiedo solo di non buttarle quando sono vuote ok? Ecco un modo semplicissimo per riutilizzarle e trasformarle in un gioco che i nostri bimbi adoreranno. Cercate di raccoglierne almeno 4, lavatele e disponetele in fila sul pavimento. Mettete una carta raffigurante animali della fattoria davanti a ciascuna bottiglia e chiedete ai bambini di far rotolare una palla per buttare giù le bottiglie, proprio come in una normale partita di bowling. Ogni volta che un birillo andrà giù, i bambini dovranno dire il nome dell'animaletto corrispondente. Giocate insieme e BUON DIVERTIMENTO! |
